As mentioned in the other reviews, this is a complex with three towers, which on 39 storeys offer studios and suites with a separate bedroom. It does not have its own casino, which in my view, however, is advantageous. Each tower has its own reception area and a pool.

All in all, the complex was very well-kept and clean.

As is usual in Vegas we had booked only the room.

Guests were mostly Americans, many Asians, few Europeans.

In the second row on the Strip, approximately a 10-minute drive from the airport.
Within 10-15 minutes on foot you are on the Strip, in both directions. The way to the MGM Grand is via a connecting corridor with moving walkways, to the Westgate (Planet Hollywood Tower/ Miracle Mile Shops) it is best to go via the gate.

The monorail station at the MGM is located just behind the passage of the Signature, insofar also longer distances can be travelled. The 12 dollars for the day pass are suitable if one wants to see a lot from the monorail. The stations are often far from the Strip. If you only want to go from one hotel to the other, you're usually faster on foot.

From the Excalibur there is a free tram to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay, you can also go from the Monte Carlo to the Bellagio, via the Aria and Vdara, at no extra charge.

The Deuce bus was a disappointment for us - with $ 5 for 2 or $ 7 for 24 hours, certainly cheaper than the monorail, however, one ride from the MGM to Freemont Street, in the very crowded and thereby narrow bus, took nearly an hour. The second time I have preferred the rental car.
Entertainment venues are of course endlessly available on the Strip.

The hotel has a kiosk in Tower 1, Tower 2 has a Starbuck's and a small restaurant, Delights (deli light), where you can also get food / drinks. The latter is not cheap.

Some grocer's on the Strip are within walking distance. For bigger shopping you should rather have a car, then it will be cheaper.

The Fashion Show Mall has everything your heart desires - except for a toy store. Some cheap shopping can be done at the LV Premium Outlet. It was not completely covered though, and very crowded. We would rather drive to Primm again, to the large outlet mall.

For our requirements the location was ideal, as it was an oasis of calm.

The service at the Signature was consistently very good. Right upon entering you had the feeling of being welcome. Right at the valet parking I was happy, that I did not have to worry about the car. Even if you had forgotten something in the car ... Upon the friendly check-in they had offered us to use the laundry area, because of our long stay.

The cleaning was top and especially the little things made me happy. For example, we had placed some books on the chest - the next day there was a bookmark. When I once dropped a glass, was the housekeeping immediately there to take care of the accident. I not only got a new glass, but also extra coffee and water, so we did not have to feel like a fish out of water. Also in Starbucks, in the Deli or the Lounge they were all nice and friendly.

However, I do deduct one point: since I was there on my 40th birthday, I would have expected at least a short greeting, as everything is in the computer. But nothing, even though I was greeted accordingly by all the slot machines.

The hotel has a kiosk in Tower 1 and a very nice bar, in Tower 2 are a Starbucks and a small restaurant, Delights (deli light), where you can also get food / drinks. The latter is not cheap, but the foods are beautifully presented.

At the MGM there are all sorts of variations to suit all budgets. From pizza to the master chef, everything is represented. We have made use of the breakfast buffet at the Grand, the Studiowalk Café and, on my birthday, Fiamma restaurant. Especially at the Fiamma we were very pleased, the menu had an additional wine option. There, I also got a small surprise for my birthday - very thoughtful.

Beside the pool there is a gym, both we have not made use of, because we did some extensive Vegas Walking.

The resort fee also includes Internet access, with my laptop no problem.

I thought it was just great that nothing else was done as entertainment, that was a nice change from the many casino hotels.

At the MGM we watched the KA show (Cirque du Soleil). I was skeptical at first, but then completely thrilled. A fantastic show.

We were in Tower 2 and accommodated on the 8th floor. With a view of the mountains. For me, this combination was totally great, because I have a fear of heights and could, on the other hand, enjoy the beautiful sunrise every morning.

The One-Bedroom Suite for my taste may be somewhat larger in the living area, for which I would have given up on some square metres in the bathroom. Otherwise, I can only say positive things. Surely here and there were some signs of wear, but that is normal. The well equipped kitchen has really served us well, there was almost everything we needed. We therefore often had breakfast in the suite. Coffee and water were included in the Resort Fee. The bathroom with jacuzzi is really great, and even the small guest bathroom was more than adequate.

Tips and recommendations

Conclusion: Las Vegas? Las Vegas! A must-see! For me, if you want to go on excursions, at least seven days are required, because LV is time consuming.

I have no comparison in terms of the room. However, seeing what I saw of some of the other hotels (location, check-in, restaurants, casino), then it is clear: for us the best choice. If we go back to LV, then the Signature is only not an option, if we find a much better price for a luxury suite elsewhere.

On the issue of smoking: Does it make sense for smokers to book the Signature? Yes! No ifs, no buts. As the lifts (5) are almost always ready, it took me less than two minutes to smoke a cigarette. Either opposite the reception or in front of the pool. And besides, I've been smoking less.

A car is not a must, but if you like to do things, it should be invested into. Solely the Red Rock Canyon is worth the (short) journey.
In addition, in the malls / shopping centres you an eat at a very low price. We, for example, had a great lunch buffet at the Souper!Salads! for $ 6.79.
