The size of the hotel area was great. There were several pools available, these weren't too overcrowded either. You just mostly had bad luck with pool chairs at the pool if you slept in.
The hotel was very clean. The rooms were cleaned every day and the pool wasn't neglected either. It was a pity however that the all inclusive services already ended at midnight. But you could already enjoy yourself at the bars all day long.
Knowledges in English were an advantage because the staff was otherwise more adjusted to the Eastern European guests as far as languages are concerned. But we always found someone who also spoke our native language German.

A free private bus drove to the beach every hour. That wasn't bad basically... but it would have been nicer if you could have walked to the beach. Whatever, the journey took 10 minutes and the beach was perfect to go snorkeling... it was probably not suitable for kids since the coral reef directly bordered to the beach but you directly got to the open water from a little footbridge, you could go snorkeling there wonderfully, it had an unbelievable abundance of species. I think that's very special for a hotel beach.
Shopping was possible in the hotel, there were many stores which rather got money out of you however. It was best if you drove to Naama Bay or to Old Market in the evening with the free bus. These were 2 huge town centers where you could get everything the heart desired.
There was a small supermarket about 10 minutes on foot away from the hotel.
You could do enough excursions. You could book them at several places in the hotel, I always directly booked it at the tour operator. Going snorkeling was very recommended.

The staff was very friendly and you got along quite well with some knowledges in English... You should really not rely on the knowledges of the staff in certain other foreign languages.
The room was cleaned thoroughly every day... the cleaning lady just once forgot a towel, but well.
There was a laundry service, however I didn't use that, it was liable to costs. There was a kids club every day, but I can't say how it was since I didn't need that.

There was a large dining room in the hotel. I always liked the food very much. It was a buffet and, of course, you could get something as often as you wanted. There was always something warm to eat, in the morning omelette ect., at lunch and dinner meat, fish, vegetables etc. The salad and dessert choice was definitely not to be sneezed at! You just had to go without pork but that didn't disturb me at all... by the way, I didn't have any digestive problems because of the food of the hotel either. There was always a dish at lunch and dinner which was prepared freshly, e.g. fried pasta, chicken wings... they also grilled outside in front of the restaurant once a week!

I didn't use much of the free time activities but it seemed that there had been activities at the pool ect. and that actually lasted the whole day. In the evenings were different performances in the open-air theater.
I didn't like the disco but everyone should decide himself if he likes it.
There was also an internet corner but it was quite expensive.
I read that there was also a WLAN access but I didn't use that one either.
The highlight was the oriental lounge. It had a cozy atmosphere and, of course, hookah. That one was liable to costs but it wasn't expensive at all, it cost 10 Egyptian pounds (EGP) per hookah, that was about 1,25 €... it was definitely worth it!
There always enough beach chairs with umbrella at the beach and, of course, they were for free... I personally prefer the beach to the pool.

The size of the room was all right. There was a balcony/terrace, a small fridge for drinks for example and a TV in every room. I even had a safe in the room but when I talked to other guests, I heard that that was apparently the exception... but you definitely got a safe at the reception.

Tips and recommendations

You could pay everything with euros everywhere but it was best if you paid with Egyptian pounds. Because if you paid with euros you got somethings like a hidden extra charge for Europeans.
You should definitely take the bus to Naama Bay or Old Market once: very recommended.
Apart from that: Have a nice holiday!
