Hotel The Vincci Avalon

The hotel is located in the 32 -street, approx 5 mins from the Empire State Building and the nearest MTR (33 street) away. The hotel is relatively quiet and in the surrounding area you find very good restaurants (e.g. Artisanal or Wolfgangs). There were enough shopping possibilities, but this is the case in NY everywhere anyway.

We were pleased with the service in principle. The staff at breakfast was very nice and endeavored. release the front desk staff were rather slow and not very friendly. For the repair of the phone we had to ask twice and the TV didn't work till the end. then. Is not so bad, but if you pay, it should be more work.

We had booked breakfast only. The served at the buffet and you had a good choice. The food was good and there were always beeing served fresh.

We had basically a double room but were upgraded to a junior suite. This also had a small sitting area. The room was relatively large with two queen-size beds. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub and separate twin sinks, large mirror, hairdryer and very high quality soaps. We had to separate the bathrobe requests, got it but without extra cost. The mini bar was well stocked, but be careful, because as soon as you can take it was automatically debited. The view from the window was not great, but that's not important in NY. The wireless internet is for free.
