American mass processing in Canada *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA room with a view of the lake you could only get with a price ($30 ), internet costs $14 , Both rooms (we were by far twice as) were well kept but a bit run down and smelled. The first room was very noisy and despite 25 stories up through the two double doors to the neighbors was whose TV unfortunately still as loud as if we would have been away. The second room was the air conditioning not working (for us as Europeans not so bad, but basically I expect that they are working). We listened and the main purpose of our visit was announced Engineering, it was done to this date (2 hours) not. The breakfast room for a hotel of this size much too small, were in the morning is dimensioned long lines, both hopping as well as to all buffet parts. Guests at the weekend noisy Canadian party people between 18 -22 , the can spend to 6st sharing a room. During the week it was clearly more quiet and firm.
Location
The view (like I said) with a view over the lake is very nice and the location is quite central in Toronto on the harbor. Liquorstore and fast food restoration is very close.
The people were consistently standard unreachable trained friendly, but couldn't really be more helpful (see air conditioning). At breakfast we could only with a lot of effort a waiter, but then right responsive and friendly a coffee pour you (about 15 minutes) for friendliness I would give it 5, for competence 1.
Gastronomy
The service is (see above) to be desired, but the food was as expected: breakfast, as you would expect in Canada: eggs, bacon (even though soft and schlabberig), very good fruit, a large selection of yogurt, pancakes etc. coffee also expected grim (but it was like that local standard)
Sport & Entertainment Unused
Room
Clean, not really big, no mini bar, large TV, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, air conditioning (unfortunately defective brauchbarem), safe, telephone, US standard furniture. If you stay with 4 people, you will be able to can like: two double beds, but it was beds with 120 wide.
