The hotel is one of the two 4 star hotels, we had on our trip. There is a North and South Tower, the South Tower has 38 floors. A private elevator leads to the floors 35 to 37, where the penthouses are - so not meant for us. It is a mega complex, with its own Convention Center and it shows. We arrived in our trainers, the jeans and t-shirt but quite place, mostly. Otherwise were especially suits) were eye-catching and Businessdamen on the walk. The hotel has a huge lobby with the reception, a lounge area, access to the gift shop, the deli and restaurant. There is also next to the concierge also a two hour bus tour around Toronto. As the but not hop-on, hop-off, it was for us not in question. There is a complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas, and a really well equipped business center which was unfortunately not for free. Should you have forgotten your toiletries, so you'll get the free at the front desk. credit can use the following: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club. Also an ATM machine is situated in the foyer. Self-parking costs CAD 20 , -- plus tax, a valet parking is also available, but a lot more, I am not sure, but I think it was $40 CAD, --. The parking lot for the Selfparking guests is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and he is not covered. If you want to stay in a covered and secure way of parking, you're best valet parking is on site parked in the parking garage. Check-in time is officially at 3 pm and checking out had to be done until 11 am. But we got to noon and also as it was not a problem for us to find a room and so we could cozy lunch before we headed out to the Toronto islands. Check out is quite simple. The bill is settled in the night before checking out through the door, if everything was okay, you could just leave the card in the room or in the designated letterboxes and check out by telephone. worked great for us. The hotel naturally occupied bellboys, one of which helped us and explained us the room. But there is no doorman, there are at least 2 entrances, one was situated at the receptions, a close to the restaurants Mizzen.

From Niagara Falls drive about 1 hours the 80 miles to Toronto. The street that is important, is the Provincial Route 420 West, so the highway. The address is but on the Harbor Square and this begins one block before the actual hotel, so be careful as a bit. walk into the port must take her the Gardiner Expressway and at Exit York St. / Bay St exit. Here is the port written down, but also here is the road below the week in the rush a regular congestion. In such a large cities I can only say do not always to be without sat nav, the various places is really a lot easier. As mentioned above the location is excellent. Right next to the hotel is the Bootsterminal, from where the ships go to the offshore Toronto islands, in about 5 minutes walking distance you will find the CN Tower, the Post AG, where we all credit cards accepted posted my, is located in the next building and a two minutes walking left and right one hand a CVS and, on the other hand, a deli, food for the day-to-day needs sold. The metro lines, which is nearby, refers to Union Station. Also the Eaton Center, the new and the old city hall, the Rogers Center and the hockey Hall of Fame are all within walking distance. Right next door, right on the Ontario lake is also a boat on board a old grocery store quite good food.

There is nothing to complain about once again, the receptionists we were treated friendly and especially the bell boy we totally nice. here we felt Mizzen on the first day in the restaurant, where we yes, as mentioned above was voucher. All in all it shows you are staying at the hotel definitely the four star service.

Breakfast was included in this hotel and we were really lucky on the first day. The receptionist gave us a hotel credit for the Mizzen. The Mizzen is the main restaurant of the Westin and the buffet was the best we had on our trip. As could not even the Hyatt Regency compete. So we ate and dining and were looking forward to second morning. Only had a gift card and so I went to get around for the next day, front desk also get a coupon for. was farther away, that we had only continental breakfast included and we received a voucher. This voucher was however only for 1 croissant or bread, 1 bowl of fruit, coffee or juice. From the fun from – Feasting at Mizzen. The continental breakfast the next day not even in/out privileges, as we had better.

The pool of this hotel was relatively large and especially the water was extremely warm, so that I didn't dare. It had a jacuzzi, the extremely hot. Towels are directly by the pool area and you didn't take those from your room. The pool but you have to be searched, he is from the fifth floor to celebrate and open daily from 5 :00AM to 11 pm. There weren't lifguards and kids access only when accompanied by an adult permitted. There was also a large gym in the hotel from where you can look out over the Toronto islands. He also arranged a access to a sun terrace, the beautiful setting. The sun but it from the pool, the roof, bypass.

The room was so far so good, but unfortunately not immaculately clean which automatically point less means for me. There were two quite high queensize beds were in it, as well as a desk with two chairs. Loved it was the fact that the window sills wide there were there, so you either put anything, or just sit watching the surrounding area. It was by far the best part, rather than in the night before we left the worst storm of the year came. It was unbelievably beautiful to see how the lightning in Ontario lake lead and the whole night sky was lit. The view from our room in the South Tower was really wonderful. Oh well, further there was a dresser, with a TV also on it and that was sadly a negative point because the quite large flat screen had a pretty bad picture. Clear, there were lots of say, I don't go on holiday to watch the, but who with two kids, know that the basic in the evening are exhausted and sleep and therefore, we got the one or the other hour before the television. In addition, you can so is again a better learn English. Naturally also the clock radio and the telephone weren't missing. The possibility of coffee cooking naturally available also here. In the bathroom the toilet and the shower and unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned ideally here. Next to the one or the other Härchen was especially the Duschauflage in the bathroom were very dirty. SUCH a pity because the bathroom itself was really great, but after Hoteldesaster in Batavia we put on cleanliness was an additional eye. Ignorant also that it has a refrigerator, more of a mini-bar, in the rooms but our whole stay was blocked. Frankly I don't know if we've been can have, but I still have never seen anything like it.

Tips and recommendations

Overall, we were very pleased with the house, but with the cleanliness, the locked fridge and the bad TV shortcomings, which the nice rooms, great location, the tasty food in the Mizzen and the property facilities of the hotel not 100 % make up for it, therefore there are easy and with a token "zugedrückten eye nor 4 stars. I can recommend the house but still and would probably stay here station, although I honestly don't before, to go back as Toronto itself, not so much.
