A great hotel for the NY trip *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is very new and therefore still in top condition. Everything was sparkling clean and furnished to a very high standard. Breakfast is not included, but you can on the ground floor in the morning to a buffet breakfast and pay for it. All in all, it is a business hotel and full of businesspeople, also the Lufthansa crews will put up here. The second group are then the city breakers the as we want to avoid the high prices of Manhattan.
Location
The hotel is located in the business district in Jersey City. All around were mainly office building and other hotels. So it is rather quiet. There is a small harbor across the street, which is also a nice view of Manhattan. evening where you can go for a nice walk, if you want to relax from Manhattan. The Newport Mall is directly behind the hotel and about a passage through an office building also in 5 minutes away. The nearest metro station (PATH) to Manhattan is less than 5 minutes. Walk, and the drive to 33 . Street near Empire State took about 15 -20 minutes. And costs only $1.30 . In the environment of the hotel there was a supermarket, a Starbucks, a Frühstücksladen whose name I not more white and for dinner there is a "Chili's in the vicinity. Also the foodcourt in the mall but only open until 9 p.m..

Gastronomy
There is no restaurant in the hotel only 2 bars. These were well-appointed and had FLEET waiters. The prices were normal for NY and surrounding area. In the morning you could for the $24.00 p.. P.. The breakfast buffet food if you want. This is very large and varied. If you are not looking for something a little bit special, you could but for about $5 -$6 at Starbucks or a breakfast restaurant also be full.

Our room was very large and best equipped. In addition to the large bed we also had a table with two chairs and a Chaiselong. The bathroom was in top and even had a bathtub. This hotel is our tip for the NY city break, because it offers comfort and cleanliness/luxury at a price that you don't find in Manhattan. If you have a choice I'd choose Newark airport.
