Great city break hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel has about 900 rooms in two towers. Therefore a relatively large hotel. Everything was very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. were on the weekend (Seattle-Marathon) there were so many locals in the hotel. Although I don't think the week in this hotel often used as a business hotel.
Location
The hotel is located between Space Needle and Pike Place Market, both within walking distance. You really have no public transport. Especially for shopping is the location of the hotel is perfect, is just around the corner from two major department stores (Macy's and Nordstrom) and many other shops.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also there was no problem with our room change. Parking is $40 at the hotel. But around the hotel, several public parking, where you can save at least half.

Room
We had booked two nights at the Westin. The first night as we arrived unfortunately a bit late, we were shown to a great room, but with a not a nice view. Hotel this night was fully booked, as the next day the Seattle Marathon took place. The next day we had asked what snags. On request we had an excellent room with view of Space Needle. Both rooms were very large, two large double beds with flat screen, work desk, seating, small hallway, private bathroom with shower/tub combination. Everything was very clean and tidy.
Tips and recommendations
I would definitely recommend a rental car, since you are some things out of sight-seeing. Definitely is the boeing factory in Everett recommendable, even if you don't have to be Flugzeugfan is. It's well worth it. Close to the boeing factory is also the Seattle premium outlet, great Markensachen at reasonable prices. Close to the airport also has a great mall for shopping (Westfield Southcenter).
