The Vail Raquet club is very spacious. I was basically in two separate core. For a where the villas and at one where the holiday apartments . We have booked the latter e-mail self catering and us above water. The guest structure consisted of my opinion from Americans. Everything else (Mexican, Russian, German, Austrian) were quite socially marginalised. Because of the size of the resort is irrelevant anyway. no more than one meets the bus stop.

Now that would be the spirits. The surrounding area is very scenic absolutely idyllic and quiet. By car you have to approximately 2 hours from the airport. Also a very attractive scenic route. However, there was also the distance to the center of Vail quite far. We are the minibus once. If you don't want to go through the main thoroughfare are the already good 10km. Escalation of the problem that it in and around the club within walking distance of infrastructure is NOTHING d. H. no bars, restaurants, no shopping possibilities. The only saving grace is the bus stop opposite the main entrance.

We had turn down service often take advantage of. The arrival were problemless. Questions to highlights in the area were answered without any problems. consensus both in the club as well as in the entire region is that you speak English. Alternatively I would say more Spanish as German. We were greeted to a "hamper", consisting of bread, juice, wine etc. Ever -- nice. A fax our airline about some changes was timely transferred to us.

There is a gym and a sauna and pool area. The sauna area is kept rather small, that goes for the fitness area. The pool area is quite large. As it is, is the outward Wohlfehleffekt during cooler temperatures exceptional.

We had a condo. Because it is mostly no room darkening condos, is the interior from the owners - traveling comparable to bad. In our case were the rooms in the country house style. The decor was excellent: washing machine, dryer, hairdryer ... Fully-equipped kitchen. There was nothing that I missed. Very nice in the summer, is certainly the balcony. Because we faced the ski season there were the fireplace more fun. The cleanliness was ok. The Reinigungsdienstleister here and there could have been better.

Tips and recommendations

Vail shows, as far as I told by two very different sides. As with its unique intermediate level skiing Whistler Wintersportoase (what we wanted to do). The other than Sommerferienort with a large golf course. From my body of tips I am time the following in the public: - a rental car makes life to 99.9 % more pleasant. Literally a must have for trips connection - I recommend the free Vail shuttle bus - English you should have - for shopping I recommend Safeway or city market. Both should you club member. Otherwise really expensive. Example grapes: $3.99 Euros normal, $.99 Club
