For one night okay, but as a vacation Hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe spent one night in the hotel and come to the conclusion:
Positive:
-Central location (10 minute walk to the historic Old town)
-Close to the lake (two minutes, but no private beach access)
-Good breakfast (coffee from a machine, nice selection, taste good food)
But that was unfortunately already disabled by the positive part. The negative list is longer from:
The hotel is getting old. It has a new paint job, but inside it is still the same. The walls are very thin. The rooms are small and installed. So were in our double beds (!) four, which made the already small room almost unbearably small.
The air conditioning was broken, so it was warm in the room and he was unbearable. The window was open at night, because the Hotel immediate to the main road and our room on this page.
The bathroom left a lot to be desired. On the one hand, there was the shower water was only lukewarm. Furthermore, the shower was light landeanflügen of lime. Furthermore, the bathroom was very small and the walls had already seen better times (plaster was peeling). The bathroom/toilet had no windows, and the small vent in the bathroom was totally overtaxed.
The staff was very friendly and tried hard, but felt very overstrained. Eating there was a complete pleasure for, that when you check out almost had to wait 15 minutes, until someone came to the front desk. Bonus was, that you found a way, our bicycles in a shed under parasol.
Also noticed, that in the Pentecost holiday (last weekend) the hotel as a base for several Motorradclubs is, what has to stay, that and the hotel mostly drunk Kuttenträger, the room showed poor manners and complete ignorance of the No smoking in the hotel. In this period, I think the hotel not suitable for children-from the smoke and noise (also in our own room and at night) not to mention. A reference to this question can be received at the time of booking, although the Motorradclubs not the first time in the hotel and the staff apparently knew.
Finally, I should like to say this: for a night without the two MCS and the hotel was just okay former, yet, there is still quite a high price (85 euro/double room/night) in addition, so all in all I would recommend this hotel will not recommend.
