Hotel Via Pontica

The day before yesterday a came back from a voyage a barely call it "vacation".
I booked a 7 days vacation to Festa Via Pontica, based on a simple reason: it is brand new hotel( they started in may or june) and I thought that they will do their best in order to gain long-term thankful tourists.
But this judgment proved to be wrong.
A couple of weeks before my departure, a friend of mine were at the same hotel, and he told me to change the hotel, if possible, because there are a lot of problems; mainly in the services area( food, beach,AI concept), I tried with my agency, but they didn't find a proper solution, so I remained booked to this hotel.
On the hotel web page, they proudly said that the design of the hotel was in Salvador Dali's style, but I didn't find any similarity with this style but in construction of the hotel itself: the corridors and the access to the rooms was so complicated and so hard to find that I thought the architect was drinking a lot with Salvador and he pour some drink on the blueprint of the hotel, and the constructors built it after that.
After 2 day they offer me a bigger room in the main building, easier to find, without ants and where the maids dare.
The room are acceptable, new furniture, firm mattress, big balcony, large bathrooms with bath tub and shower too, LCD, bar. No hair dryer , it seems they had just few, and you are in need they took it from another room.
So far from the good things.
The bad things:
1. The food - the same food every day, in the morning they didn't bother to change something: omelet, fried potatoes, some salami, yogurt, some cereals, instant coffee, and some vegetables. For lunch and dinner - the same main courses(2-3), 2 soups, and if you were lucky you were able to fill you plate with some food, and fruits( just apples and slices of oranges at the beginning,after the riot they bring water melon and grapefruits). At the beach it supposed to bake some pizzas between 10am and 12am when the lunch begin, but they thought it is better to cook the pizza from 12am, when the people from the beach headed to the main and only restaurant for lunch.
It is a bulgarian tradition to "refurbished" the meal from previous day and to give it back to you in a different style. This tradition was in its splendor in some day where we find almost all dishes from dinner in lunch time next day, and a lady spontaneously erupted and thrown away a lot of food on the floor, yelling and screaming for the hotel manager. Immediately was moved in a resort next to our hotel.In the same day, the riot day I previously mention, a list of complains were filled by 26 tourists from 40-50.
2.The inside pool - small and cold( 8/3metres), there were 2 showers inside (no functionally ) with only 5 sunbeds to rest.
The outside pool - if a 30 square meters hole can be named a pool, they have one.
3.The beach bar - at the beginning, before the riot, they didn't offer anything to AI tourists, just plain water from a recipient and some draft beer , even they had local beverages and instant coffee at the bar, they claim they were for UAI tourists.After some discussions with the hotel manager, they started to give all beverages from AI concept to the beach bar.
4.The beach - it is sandy, clear water, but few sunbeds and umbrellas( almost 30 for 300 tourist-the hotel capacity).
5. No entertainment for the tourists, only a half hour in the evening for little children.
6.They are still working to build some things in and around the hotel, you don't have to panic if an excavator will arise in front of you when you exit the hotel for the beach.No mention about the noise...
7. They have a garden terrace with live music, but if you have the guts to sit there, you have to order meal from the restaurant, if don't, you have to leave...
8. the lifts - one day the two lifts was off, and the days after,only one was working, another day, the TV set and phone didn't functioned...
As a tourist said: If you want to stress and ruin a vacation this is the perfect place to go!
