A unique boutique hotel
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe went to cycle and use the hotel as abase. We were not let down. The village is a cycle paradise with flat rides around the Bern region lakes to Thun OR to try a climb to a pass or two! Simon is a great host and runs and rides as well and is the perfect host - a wealth of information about the cycle roads. In fact if he is not TOO busy he may even join you on his fabulous carbon frame bike and then, to top it off, be in the kitchen that night as the executive Chef. His meals are extra-ordinary. Attention to detail is faultless. Finally the Swiss beat the French hands down when it comes to making and baking bread. The Hotel Victoria is truely a cycling mecca for those of you who are seeking a clean air and healthy sporting activities.
