There were 9 floors all together. Everything is very clean and there are a lot of maids working 24/7 so I cannot complain on that. There is one theme throughout the whole hotel(viking ship shaped food-tables etc).
Very positive was also that I could get food basically anytime I wanted. Even at 3 o'clock in the morning there was a snack bar opened with fresh fruits and salads.
Most of the guests are from Germany and there are a lot of Russians too.

I really liked the hotels location. Well yes, it is not in the area of great tourists' attractions and massive shopping centers. In front of the hotel there is a road with big traffic and there are some smaller shops. But what I really liked was that I could see the real life of the locals. Just across the road are their houses and we walked around there. That gave a really good picture of their living conditions and everyday life. Also, the locals are very friendly and waved as we passed by.
During my stay at the hotel I did not visit Alanya or any other cities, didn't feel the need to. There is a shopping center with 370 shops nearby. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk there.
From Antalya airport there is 90 km to the hotel. It was quite frustrating to drive an hour and a half by bus in the night but the hotel was totally worth it. The nearest town is Alanya which is 30 kilometers from Vikingen Quality. Basically in every ten minutes you could catch a bus in front of the hotel that goes to Alanya. Since we were there with two families we rented a car(right next to the hotel reception) and traveled with that for one day.
The beach is right next to the pools. It is a typical beach, very similar to those in for example Egypt, there are very many pebbles and not so much sand but it is enough for children to play there. The two 6 year old boys we had with us were pleased.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They mostly prefer to speak in Russian but their English is adequate enough. German is also widely spoken.
The room is cleaned on daily bases as in every normal hotel. The cleaning ladies are very friendly and do their job properly. They vacuum and wash the floors every day. They even carefully clean and polish the ashtray

We only ate in the same restaurant and I am not really shore that the other ones were even opened though they advertise in their homepage that they have 1 main and 5 other restaurants.
Food was very good but there was not so big variety of dishes. First three days I grabbed everything and there were heaps of different things on my plate but after that it got repetitive.
Annoying is that they do not serve alcoholic drinks after midnight. There are 3 bars from which you can get drinks( two pool bars and one bar at the lobby). In pool bars you can get beer and simple drinks like gin with tonic etc. Cocktails are available at the lobby bar( for example pina colada and sex on the beach). In my opinion they were really good. Especially the cocktails and the beer(they only serve local beer called Efes).
In Turkey it is polite to tip basically everywhere. It is not compulsory to leave tips but it is just polite. In case you do leave tip you have to make it very clear to the cleaning lady that it is meant for her. If you leave the tip on a table she might not take it because she may not be sure it is a tip. That is what happened to us in first two days. It is better to leave in on the bed for example. Even if you do not leave tip it does not really change anything, they clean the same way. The only difference is that if you do leave a tip they put a little bigger effort in decorating your bed.

In order to get a sun-bed you should wake up at 7 or 8 and put your towel or clothes on them, otherwise you will not get one. There is no heating in outside pools but the water was warm enough. Even a 4 year old baby was O.K. with the warmth. It is said in their homepage that there is a indoor pool which has heating but I never saw that as it is only opened when there is bad weather. There are four water slides but they are only opened from 10 to 12 and from 2-4.
Internet is totally free and signal strength is very good basically everywhere. In order to have internet access you need to ask the password from the reception. This password is valid usually for five hours and you have to insert it in 30 minutes or else it will be of no effect.
Every night at 9 there is minidisko for children. They stand in a circle and animation team members show them simple moves and the parents are partially included also. It was very entertaining to watch it. There are also different activities during daytime including pool games and simple handicraft.
I really really loved the animation team. There were people from all over the world so it was very multicultural and fun. I really regret I did not take their contacts because I would love to keep in touch with them. They were always very positive and tried to get everyone to take part in different events. Only good words to say about them. And of course their main phrases :" Yoyoyo looky looky" and " no sabotage!"

We stayed in a family room. There are two kinds of them but we were in the smaller one. It was plenty for us. When you enter there is a room with two separate beds and the next room has a bed for two people. The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, there is a bath in there also and therefor there is not much space.
There is a TV in both rooms. There are a lot of channels in German but I found BBC world and than was enough for me. In the cupboard there is a free safe. Minibar has only soft-drinks and it is filled daily(totally free of charge).Balcony is big enough for about two people to sit in there. Our room had the view to the sea so we very lucky. If you get a room on the side of the street you might find it hard to sleep as it is a bit noisy in there because of the crazy traffic.
