Hotel Vikingen Quality Resort & Spa

It is a short ride to the larger cities but the area has basic shops and a large bizarre about 1 Km away. It is right on the beach. The beach was small but to accommodate the quest they have a dock built for swimming/sunbathing. There are excursions in the hotel, but I would not recommend using them. We went to an agency outside the hotel and found the exact same trips for 1/2 the price.

Our initial response was poor because we met with someone that passed us our key and a schedule.that was about it. The next morning when we met with the staff and it was another experience. The change was amazing. We had two problems with the room (towels/toilet paper) but the front desk handled it immediately. At times there was a small language barrier but they found someone to over come it.

There were three different areas to eat we used (3-5 reservation only restaurant that we did not use--our fault). The food was a mix. The main dish was not the same in 14 days.that's difficult. The areas were clean but the seating is limited and difficult to find at primetime.

This is the third trip we've taken like this. All have had an "animation team", but this was something else! They were amazing. They had activities from 1030 till sometimes 0300 in the morning. If we did not leave the hotel, we still would have had a great time because of them. What a group!
