Hotel Vikingen Quality Resort & Spa

Its so convienient to be right on a beach and have shopping only a short walk away. It was perfect to take a stroll over to the shopping area after a meal. The distance was just enough for it to be pleasureable.

Its seems that there is not anything that this hotel can not handle. From finding a doctor, to special little treats in your room, to being able to communicate in several different languages. But above all, its so nice to be greated by a genuinely warm and friendly staff

Besides a wonderful buffet with a full assortment of dishes, I was able to also choose from several different ala carte menus. The atmosphere in the different restaurants is so much fun as you can just pick and choose what type of food you feel like for a particular evening. It always seemed very clean in all of the food areas and that is something I always look for as I am a chef myself.

It seemed as if there was never a time when you got bored as there was always something going on with sports or training. The sunbeds were comfortable to lie on and the animation team were working all the time with fun and entertaining activities.

I loved my room. The size was perfect. It had enough drawer and closet space for all my things and the balcony was just so perfect. The minibar was always stocked with cool drinks and housekeeping did a great job replacing things that I had used.

Internet access worked great. You get a free ticket in reception with a code and punch it in and away you go. Its so convienient to just have your laptop on in your room when you need it. I think the time before the season really starts in April, May and September and October are perfect here.
