We are traveling as a couple in order to escape from the world. Therefor everything was perfect. As on the island and the Portuguese is spoken Italian club hotel (there are 90% Italian guests), you could get along with German and English not far. The entertainment was accordingly loud, the music by the pool also. The program was very varied. The check-in process was a pleasure. Daily variation in lunch and dinner buffet in the evening. Lots of fish-hmm-whoever complained, couldn't be helped. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, all wishes to become fair. Internet access was very expensive in the hotel, 30 minutes cost three euros. The distance from the town of Santa Maria is not large, 20 minutes in a cozy step along the promenade within easy reach. We enjoyed it very much and we would certainly stay at this hotel again, perhaps before learn Spanish ☺
