Beautiful area, hotel very basic *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located in a very nice area. On my rating important thing is the location of our room. Our room was in the direction of the shopping arcade inside and across the street from a restaurants so we had quite a lot noise pollution. Absolutely unsuitable for small children, since the windows open due to the heat (no air conditioning). The room itself was very small and we did not want to unpack the bags in the closet, as the back was moldy. Therefore, the cleanliness was also not very much! The food in the neighboring 4 star hotel by the quality acceptable, we always found something, only the drink prices are too high. If you arrive on 100 euros, should the 4 star hotel bernadin, since the whole area is available to all people and this is recommendable. Accommodations at the hotel vile Park are not the houses around the pool, but behind the shopping arcade inside or around the old church bell tower.
Location
The beach is in the surrounding area, but as usual in Slovenia consisting of cement slabs with adjoining lawn. The water is clean and for snorkeling. They have a choice to the left to the modern Portoroz stroll (about 20 minutes) or turn right into the old winding romantic Piran (approx. 20 minutes) to stroll. Shopping possibilities you found everywhere. The caves of Postojna are highly recommended.
The staff is especially in the restaurant or very surly. get a laugh remind you of the lips. The reception and room service is friendly.
Gastronomy
The food is varied in the evening and one always found something which was tasty. The breakfast is rather boring and nothing out of the ordinary.
Sport & Entertainment Unused
Room
The size is too small for families. There is no option to dry the swimming gear, since we didn't have a terrace. The Furniture was simple but functional. There was Wasserproblemen on the walls or ceilings, therefore also mold in the closet (not usable).
Tips and recommendations
If you don't have many requriements you can book this hotel, but if you want to spend your holiday a bit better, as is the 4 star hotel Histrion recommended.
