Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe stayed at the October 2 weeks at the resort. The complex is fantastically beautiful location, very quiet and greenery extremely well-maintained. The complex consists of 50 two-story in Reihenbauweise built two- and three rooms bungalows. A small children's play area and access via stairs up to the small beaches are absolutely beautiful. You can Halbperson breakfast, or just the place to stay. The area was especially by Dutch families and a few English.
Location
The complex is right at the cliffs of Olhos d'Agua, stairs are the bays in a minute. The center of Olhos d'Agua is in 10 minutes walking distance. There are a number of recommendable restaurants (best was the modern Hochglanzpizzeria). Diagonally opposite the area (less than 5 minutes walk) is a well stocked small supermarket with fresh rolls, good Weintheke and so on in Olhos d'Agua there was a Ecomarche and a Intermarche (better by car). From the bungalow from excursions offered. More mobile although with the car. We like to drive to Silves, Loule. Party for those, who wanted, in Albufeira's Old Town.
The staff at the reception and in the Gebäudeservice (cleaning, gardeners, lord) is very accomodating; the service staff in the restaurant was hard, from the limited offer to do the best. The kitchen could do with a high staff turnover. It can be better.
Gastronomy
The pool bar was closed - probably already throughout the summer months. The Separe cliff-side, the private diner thought is was also closed and obviously been not used anymore. The little card offers snacks, Italian and Portuguese. We have only one meal there. Never before have I get such dry fish served. There was no ice cream for the kids, the cocktail card was large, but reduced soon due to the low stocks and so on We had booked breakfast - we would have left better. The buffet was poor, nothing Cute for the kids, two weeks a jam, sausage, one sort of cheese - not recommended. The cleanliness wasn't a drawback, reasonable prices but much too high for the quality.
Sport & Entertainment
The bungalow area offers any activities. Internet access is possible in the upstairs bar (there was also a pool table), but you have to pay. overall the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed. The beach is very clean and nice. The pool area is beautiful - but unfortunately wasn't very well maintained. The water is refreshingly cool, swimmable small black "Würmchen", because the grout over a long period hadn't been cleaned. The edges of the pool Please be advised mold-blackness all over your feet. urgent action from our perspective. Probably do so was the TÜV-Rheinland certificate not be prolonged but is in this year is over.
Room
The villas are very spacious, tastefully decorated, the kitchens are equipped with dishwasher, oven, washing machine, microwave, stove, fridge-freezer combination - didn't do anything super clean. If you look into the corners, would be a thorough cleaning. The furniture is however was already aged (soft upholstery, holes in the sofa) and the beds are way too hard. The spa area is wonderful and run by friendly Dutch. There was obviously "Trennungsabsichten decreasing" because of the quality of the villa complex after a change of ownership.
Tips and recommendations
All in all, a wonderful resort, if the beds would be replaced and the restaurant service was filmed as well as the pool cleaned next year, we would we Villas de'agua again.
