Hotel Viva Cala Mesquida Resort

Fantastic location with view of the large bay.
Small stores directly in front of the door, Spar Market, german butcher and baker with delicious bread and bread rolls.
Several restaurants.
LIDL right in front of Cala Ratjada
Bus after Cala Ratjada several times daily, just 1,65 Eur

Very friendly and helpful. At the reception the whole staff spoke German
Room cleaning regularly, fast and thoroughly.

The entertainment and sport offer we didn't use.

Our flat was for 2 people more than sufficient.
Kitchen, air conditioner and heater, TV (7 German programs), large balcony (we will miss that daily long breakfast on the balcony), safe, telephone (booths more expensive than cell phone) cell phone reception top!
The furniture was somewhat older, but clean.

We had up to a few short storms 25-30° and the best swimming weather. We had rented a scooter, and were traveling the whole day and saw a lot. Since Palma was ca. 80 km away, we rented a car from across the street...not recommendable. We got a wreck: old, dirty, loud, radio broken and a lot too expensive. The staff at the car rental was unfriendly and rude, weren't in the mood at the end of the season. Whoever wanted to sightsee a lot, shouldn't book AI.
