Not as good as expected. *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were with two kids for a week at the hotel. The leisure activity options at the hotel 'viva palmanova' is not the designated four stars Standard. This applies to the whole appearance, the structural condition (extreme thin walls), the gastronomic offer, as well as on the overall service. The hotel itself is not particularly proud of 4 star or, as in promotional material, etc. often 3-star adverts were identified, which will definitely be the required standard. Language is English or German. The guests often come from scandinavia and from all over europe.
Location
The hotel is conveniently located in a busy district. All around you can walk to everything. The beach is about stairs and with a pushchair be reached after taking a small detour. Very nice flat sandy beach. All-inclusive is not necessary there are many restaurants in the area. Directly at the hotel there is a small supermarket. By bus you can reach quick and cheap palma.
The room service occurred only five days (Wednesday and not Sunday) instead. A fact, we actually for a four stars Hotel impossible to keep. Sometimes the service only at noon instead. Since we were there in that time (13 to 15 o'clock) with our two-year son the room have to use, we were told, that after 15 o'clock no more service is possible. If such day is not a general cleaning day, we had several days no service.
It should be noted, that you regularly deposited after about messages have to ask. These are not, but in the opinion of the reviewer front desk days to just any random demands of the guest.
Pool towels cost 10.00 euro. Generally, it is usual invoices and services to pay immediately in cash. Account is not a room.
Gastronomy
The food is not extraordinary, but of course you will get full. There is a chef at the buffet, omelets, we will be in the morning (from mass finished) to fried eggs, sometimes also pancakes made. Every day, there was a different theme, but only partially implemented in the offer. The morning Coffee is mostly inedible.
Sport & Entertainment
The pool area is good. There is a separate pool for children. The animation team is not pushy and very hard during the day a daily evening entertainment to achieve.
Wi-fi in the lobby is free but slow. There are three internet portal.
Room
Baby cots cost six euro surprisingly per day. It should be self-evident, that for a suitable place to sleep is provided.
We had an apartment with two separate rooms plus bathroom. There is a equipped small kitchen. The Badrenovierung is not far off.
The apartment was very clairaudient. In The living room you could go to sleep in the evening because of audible other guests in the hallway and in the morning you were woken up by other guests.
Tips and recommendations
We stayed on mallorca and tenerife other four stars Hotels met. This can not compete with this.
