It was ok!

The rooms were outside of the hotel building and you had to walk a fair bit to get to your room and back for food which was a pain with a 4 year old and one day i walked from reception with my daughters rubber ring etc to take them up to the room and then i was going to go back down to the bar and when i got to my room, my room key card would not work so i had to walk all the way back to reception then back to the room and then back to the bar which is near the reception, this is not somthing you want to do when it is hot! , there were also too many rooms which also means too many people! The condition of the hotel was very poor and is in a big need of a renovation as wherever you walk around you will see something wrong such as tiles missing of the floor etc. The room in the hotel was very unclean and looked like the maid had not bothered to clean it at all but it was the same everyday for the two weeks she thought that cleaning the bathroom was putting the taps on while she made the beds! there was scum around the bath which resulted in me giving my 4 year old daughter a shower every night, which she dosent like. There was hair everywhere in the drawers in the bathroom everywhere! i had to clean the room myself even the toilet as i couldnt live in it for 2 weeks otherwise! The mini bar was only filled up with 1 of each item which was 1 beer, 1 cola, 1 soda, 1 water and 1 sparkling water and there was 3 of us in the room! The food was ok but mostly the same stuff every night and nothing much for kids as my daugter only moslty ate deserts. There were hardly any british guests most of the guests were russians who think that they can do what they like when they like. pushing in and the children taking my daughter toys!
Location
The distance to the beach is good which is like a 2 min walk and the distance from the airport was good which was only about 25 mins. The shopping facilities were about 5 - 10 mins away in a taxi which i didn't find too bad and i only paid 10 euros to get there and back.
Some of the staff in the hotel were friendly and other wern't it would sometimes also depend on their mood that day. They wernt very good which english speaking it was sometimes hard to get the drink you wanted. The room cleaning as i already said was a total waste of time and i mostly cleaned the room myself! One day my daughter had her foot sucked into a hole within the children's pool which was ment to be used at night when they cleaned the pool and ment to be turned off when they finish! I complained about this to the hotel staff straight away and they just told me oh ok we will turn it off it is for when we vaccum the pool! so i told my thomas cook rep and she delt with it very well adn the hotel give us a rubbish spa treatment and my daughter some coins for the games room and fair! so if it wern't for my rep nothing would of got done about it which is absoulty discusting!
Gastronomy
There were a tidy number of restaurants and bars as you can also use next doors. but the food wasn't the best as it was moslty the same stuff every night the best thing was the desserts. The glasses and plates were always dirty looking which dosent make you feel like your in a 4 star hotel!
The best thing about this hotel was a la carte restaurants apart from the turkish the others were fab with excellent service and food.
Sport & Entertainment
The daytime activities were ok but the kids club was not very good as they didn't make you feel at all welcome so we didn't bother going there at all after that. But the entertainment in the night was brilliant and the mini disco was also brilliant! the beach and pool areas were ok. But one day we found shattered glass underneath out sunbeds by the childrens pool area. And also the sun umbrellas where rubbish and old and they were either broke or kept blowing over.
Room
Our room was small and we had two single beds and a pull up bed for my daughter which i was not happy about as you don't expect a pull up bed being a four star hotel. We also had to put our beds together ourselfs which was stupid as we are a cauple with a child. The equipment in the room was very old, dated and dirty. the air-con was rubbish and it was better when it was off! The safe was good as you had to put your own pin number in it.
The clenliness of the room was discusting and dirty and i never expected to clean on my holiday to a four star all inclusive hotel!
Tips and recommendations
Take you mobile phone or laptop it will be cheaper and easier! Don't forget anything!!!! they charge around 20 euros for suncream, 6 euros for batterys, 3.50 euros for crisps, 4 euros for a magazine and 5 euros for a phone card that dosen't even work!
I travelled at the end of september and the weather was great!
