Very probably felt in the Wandl *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis hotel not only because of the special atmosphere, but also because of the unique location (see my review of May 09) It is mainly to those recommended, with flight or train the coming, as parking spaces in the centre were very rare. From the Airport you can take the S7 to highway/Vienna middle (the Central Africa Time is significantly more expensive but only five minutes faster), rising to U3 to Stephan's square = in the two stations. There you can take the output gap, 200 meters is about getting down to the first side street to the right, are the church and in front of the hotel.
This year we had a room facing the street so I had taken some ear plugs, sleep, but I did not needed, although we opened windows. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable seating area, the bathroom with a large shower and separate toilet. What is missing, is a mini-bar. But there is a supermarket nearby, where you get all drinks, you'll need it. Is this the Stephan's square, facing the Carinthian re beach chairs and on the Singerstr. After about 100 meters the business.
The staff we only friendly and very attentive. There is a concierge service, the opera, theatre and concert has, also for the new year's concert, if you want to spend up to 1600 2400 €therefor.
We will again fly to Vienna and stay in Wandl book.
