Hotel Watles

The hotel is located in 1800m height and overlooking the Val Venosta and its surrounding peaks of Italian and Austrian Alpes. Alpine skiing in a distance of 400metres as well as the great cross country centre in Slingia, only a couple of few minutes further, paragliding from the hotel and biking are the favourite sports to do. The upper Val Venosta as well as the nearby swiss Val Müstair is offering a very rich and lively culture. I personalyy don't know any region in the Alpes with such great location and view as you have from Hotel Watles

The staff is very friendly and knowledegable. The rooms are clean as well as the entire hotel.

The owner Georg is a great and passionate cook and always serves phantastic food. He uses regional products, products from the farm of his brother in great and very tasting quality. The kitchen is regional and light with great variety. The yoghurt made from his mother is outstanding.

I like at Hotel Watles the interesting wellness area with different saunas, whirlpool and resting room. Skiing, cross country skiing, biking, hiking, mountaineering and paragliding are the major sports you can do. The area is beautiful and the mountain gets sunshine the whole day.

Hotel Watles is a beautiful hotel with nice and charming rooms, fully equipped and lots of traditional wooden furniture. The very new part offers rooms in modern architecture with big windows and phantastic view. In all areas of the hotel you can see the handwriting of the owner with his large collection of type-writing machines nicely shown.
