Hotel Wengener Hof - great place for Jungfrau Marathon

We stayed at the Wengener Hof in order to run the Jungfrau Marathon. The hotel is at the midway point of the marathon in the charming village of Wengen, which is accessible only by train from Lauterbrunnen. The staff at the hotel is exceptional, always smiling, helpful and pleasant. You can tell how well-loved this hotel is by the fact that so many people we met come here every year and have been doing so for years and years. The restaurant is wonderful -- we are both vegetarian and were so happy to discover that a 5-course vegetarian meal is offered every evening. The food was great.

We will definitely stay here again when we come back for our next Jungfrau Marathon.
