Perfect Hotel in perfect location
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AUpon arrival at the station our suitcases were whisked off to the hotel. We could have ridden on the 'buggy' but chose to walk. The hotel is a 5-6 min walk through the main street and situated on the hillside overlooking the valley with impressive views of the mountains. The General Manager greeted us by name and quickly checked us in with the minimum of fuss. Cases then carried to room. Nice way to start a holiday. The striking and overwhelming experience whilst at the hotel is the genuine pleasure the staff have looking after you. We were always addressed by name and nothing was too much trouble. The food was always of the highest quality - 5 or 6 courses and would not be misplaced in the highest quality restaurant. The rooms are of ample size, and whilst looking a little dated now have superb views over the valley and mountains with no rooms overlooked. On the day of departure our cases were held at reception and then delivered to the station with ample time to catch the train. Overall impressions of the Wengener Hof Hotel - Perfect!
