The food, the food and the food
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis is the 4th occasion over 10 years we have stayed at the Wengener Hof and it has remained unchanged except for this year with the upgrade to smart cards for room access.
The service here is excellent. The restaurant is superb, the quality of the food is excellent and the breakfast is bountiful. Take away the restaurant and service and there is little else to set this hotel apart from any other.
In my opinion, the sanitary ware and decor in the rooms are getting a little tired. The Lounge and Bar show their age as well. But the restaurant and the silver service make these points pale into insignificance.
