We loved the Wengenerhof
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery friendly! We had the largest room I have ever had in Europe. The Bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the extra seating in the room so our friends could visit after a day of skiing.
Location
It was a bit of a walk to the tram and the train, but having the opportunity to use the ski storage space at the sister Hotel was excellent.
We would have to say that the service was the best! We were greeted in a very friendly way and found that all requests were met with "Of course" and a big smile. The desk staff and the dining room staff were all very charming and helpful and fun. The shuttle service to the train station was very helpful and accomodating.
Gastronomy
We all loved the meals! And the ambience in the restaurant!
Sport & Entertainment
Internet access should be included in the room price, instead of an add-on. This is the main fault we find with the Hotel.
Room
The room was fantastic -- large, nicely furnished and very comfortable. I didn't notice any noise or unpleasant smells. Having two sinks in the large bathroom was great, as were the drying rack over the heater and the clothes line over the tub.
Tips and recommendations
We had a wonderful ski week but I think this Hotel would be equally pleasant any season of the year. It's the people who make a great place to stay!
