Good hotel, but it was often too highly praised! *

The hotel is nicely situated on the edge of the forest and is still only a short walk from the centre of the city. The house itself is somewhat older Year of construction, but was still well presented. In the light of current photo albums brochures it is presenting itself as 3. five stars Hotel dar, which in many areas is difficult to comprehend.
We had a double room booked and got a replacement for a nominal extra charge a family room (two rooms connected with a door), there was no regular double rooms. It was obvious the only room on the ground floor of the main building and it was right next to the kitchen and the main entrance, to a considerable noise in the morning, as well as Evening. Due to the architecture from the electronic devices in the plug in the early evening, when the food was prepared. Also the view on the garbage container in front of the window and the attendant odor took some getting used to.
the room was in terms of size in order, the so-called 'bathroom' with toilet and shower (only about 2-2.25 square meters) was an impertinence! Between the toilet and door were about 40 centimeter square-with the focus on pushing and not at the same time. The two sink with mirror cabinets were in one of the two rooms. Also there is a question, for example, as you want to use the toilet at night, without the kids to wake up (the bathroom was in back the two rooms).
Store the clothes there was only one small closet and an alcove with main criteria laundry and a free-it is part of a family to tight!
Through the use of cable tv is the number of programmes clearly limited: about ten programs in Dutch subtitles and/or pool of broadcasting corporations second channel of German television into German. Even if you are the least amount of time in the hotel, that's ok for years clear better with satellite.
Really outstanding was the dinner with salad buffet attached! Both were very varied and always freshly prepared. The service and the friendliness of the staff was always very good. Small-talk during the stay was always welcome and informative at the same time. The breakfast was-even if varied stocked-little varied.
It it is worthwhile a glance at the website to throw, where it again and again different deals. The visit to the flower 'keukenhof' (included in some packages) I can only recommend to the beginning of May, since the diversity of flowers still reduced (closes at 20 May).
