3 star inn with a 5-star kitchen *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn our Alpavia tour (hiking with organised luggage) we spent one night in the hotel Alpach in Meiringen. The hotel is located in a quiet street of the historic village. Our room was a decent three star standard: rather small, but clean, fairly well equipped. Nice and comfortable the breakfast room and the lounge so. The 5-course dinner was delicious! The wine list was attractive, the service was very nice. Our conclusion: longer holidays we would not in Alpbach, but food go! The price/performance ratio I couldn't judge, since I got the trip.
