Acceptable city hotel for one or two nights *

We stayed here as we passed. It's a basic hotel in a great location. Our rooms were quite large, and conveniently furnished, one room had with an old fireplace ( out of order ... ), and each had an en suite bathroom. The rooms were clean, as was the somewhat older bathroom. We had a nice view of the Pope's palace across the street. There is a parking garage convenient 'on the doorstep', below the main square in front of the Pope's palace. It is located in the heart of Avignon. For a short stay I highly recommend this hotel, as central as you can get.
