Ibis Hotel World Square

Very central. Close to public transport as train (e.g. Museum, Central Station) or the monorail and buses. Many restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, supermarkets and Chinatown are just around the corner.

All was ok, but nothing special.

Breakfast buffet for 20 AUD per person, we ate out!

There is a mini-gym with 3-4 pieces of equipment, which we didn't use. No pool. Internet access is available, but quite expensive.

Quite small, but clean, queen bed (approx. 1,40 meters wide), LCD TV from the bed to see, small fridge, microwave, kettle with tea and instant coffee, telephone, air conditioning. Overall decor in good condition. Bathroom with shower and hair dryer. The biggest negative I can see is the fact that the windows do not open and the air is so bad in the room.

Located on George Street corner Goulburn Street (toward Chinatown) for example, there was an internet cafe, in the 1h internet only 2 AUD costs. In the surroundings there are many pubs and cafes with breakfast from about 10 AUD inclusive 1 drink. We had good reception in the room any Australian GSM networks. We booked the room in Germany over FTI (80 EUR/double room / night), which was a lot cheaper than directly through Accor.
