Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AImagine living in a room in a heat-wave, without air-conditioning, facing a very busy street and above a noisy street restaurant, not far from a railway station. Did not have any breakfast - they ask for 15 euro a day, while just outside a hote you can breakfast for 5-6 euros. Clean enough, but the shower did not drain well, one could not close the shower doors, the water did not drain from the washing-basin either. And in temperatires raising over +35C you were only given a thick duvet to cover yourself. No additional pillows either.
Location
Rather rough area, not many decent restaurants, though the hotel did provide a free travel card. But one does not want to go to the city centre to eat in the city centre in the evening, worn out with sightseeing! There is a reastaurant in the hotel, but it closes at 3pm.
Asked to change my room several times, got exactly nowhere. Staff speaks English ok, but as I understand German, what they say about you in German is NOT complimentary.

Decent size, but unbearably stuffy and noisy, no air-conditioning. No facilities for making tea or coffee. Minibar prices ridiculous, and the choice of drinks poor
