Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Ai traveled with my fiancee , her 12 year old sister , futer mother in law , and our 2 children age 4month and 20 months....
from the off it was hard work as we had two buggys that we used all the way to the plane which was fine untill we got to egypt and our buggys were the last things out so we had to get our cases whilst holding our kids (hard work)
got to the coach blokes asking if they can help but want money first ....yeah i tip but you need to do somthing first mate lol....he stood there whilst we strugled and then asked for money ...no chance ...
air port is very close to the hotel but to be honest after the first day got used to it and it was fine , i would rather spend 10 mins on a coach to hotel then an hour or so ??
when we got there we were greated with cool flannel and a drink ..lovley ... showed to our rooms which were up the second floor (theres only 2 levels) but as we had buggys i asked if we could change and they did no fuss .... we had two rooms they got us two cots which were ok nothing special but more then fine for the kids .
rooms were ok clean and tidy bit dated but nothing a little upgrade wouldnt fix .
the cleaner we had fahid was brilliant everyday that room was spotless so end of holiday he deserved a good tip ...
the pools the slides the genrale gardens that suround the hotel were fantastic right from the life guards to the towel guys and the bar staff dedicated workers and made us feel wellcome.
food was good theamed nights mexican , indian , seafood ,egyptian .and british thats with out the bar b que bye the pool and the italian on the roof ( yasser was very good to us he helped me celibrate my 30th with a bang) back in the main resturant you will always see or hear mohamed (captin)he is very nice and very good at his job and always smilling concidering he is there from as far as i know 7am-12pm mon-sun .
only down side is there is not a lot of baby high chairs or baby change which does get annoying .
the annimation team were brilliant day and night mido and ahmed were fantastic 10am till 11pm there would be water polo slide comps water aerobics fun and games football darts somthing for everyone ..you dont need to leave the hotel grounds realy...
the beach at the sister hotel is a no no if yo have a buggy as there are steps upon steps so we just didnt bother but went on a boat trip instead (snorkling is a must)
this hotel is a must for familys and even couples as we met some out there as me and my gf got engaged out there . they made it that little bit more special a big thank you from us both
so yes there are a few problems but hey see for yousellf you will love it overall.....
one mor thing dont get stung at the airport in eygpt like we did IF YOU DONT INTEND TO GO TO CIRO DONT PAY THE VISA we found out the hard way and forked out £78 untill someone told us that ,
