JS Hotel Sol de Alcudia

The beach is approximately 300 meters away, and corresponds to the travel description. The shopping center, clubs, and bars begin directly in front of the door. It was somewhat loud during the night on the side facing the street. Upon request we could purchase a room on the side of the garden and pool, and we slept really well there. Whoever likes hype is well taken care of here, but you also find quietness, quiet places in which you can really relax and spend some nice time.

The employees at the reception desk were always very helpful and courteous. The service at the bar and in the restaurant were not always good (waiting times for drinks were too long), otherwise the hotel was also very full at the time, and the waiters had too much to do - because of this we can not complain.

The food offer (half all-inclusive) was adequate and predominantly good. Adequate throughout for a 3-5 star building. We were always full, and can not complain about the quality.

We did not participate in the entertainment and sports. But what we did notice is that they took the trouble to entertain the guests, and the guests were offered something nice. We were usually on our way through the surround areas during the evening, we looked at the small businesses and local shops, or went for a walk on the beach. The harbor and the old city of Alcudia are recommendable.

The rooms are small like already mentioned, but well arranged, and were clean and orderly. On the street side it was sometimes very loud because of the singing and chanting vacationers. A room change was immediately possible on request. Towels were changed daily, and the bed sheets were clean and orderly.

We booked this hotel on very short notice, because it was hard to get something short before the autumn vacation time (we actually wanted to book at least a 4 star hotel), and had to decide that the price/service ratio was good. It was a all-around nice vacation, and we can recommend the hotel despite that other guests gave it negative reviews. If someone wants to have a luxury vacation, then you have to book a 5 star hotel, and not only a 3 star hotel, but also have to pay a higher price. We were altogether happy with the services, and would chose this hotel again based on the good price.
