Great hotel!
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery beautiful resort with spacious bungalows and lots of pools. The bungalows are situated in small clusters, or "villages", and every cluster of bungalows has its own pool.
The reception building is awesome and the restaurants offers something for everyone. There is six all inclusive restaurants on the resort that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and late dinner in a wide range of flavors, and the dessert tables are divine!
We have no complaints about the housekeeping, as our rooms where spotless and we got towel-animals several times during our stay.
Guests of all ages and several nationalities are found here; Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, German, Russian and so on.
Although the hotel is wonderful, the Russian guests are not. They are rude and loud.
Location
It takes about 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel with the transfer bus.
The resort is blossoming with palm trees, trees and flowers everywhere.
There is a free transfer bus to the beach every 30 minutes, Dana beach lies about a kilometer away from the hotel.
At the resort there are two shopping areas, one by the waterpark and one in the top of the restaurant area, remember to bargain. Overall the egyptian people are very friendly and helpful.
There are lots of excursions available, a tip is to book through your traveling agency to be sure your insurances are valid. A snorkeling tour is a must!
Friendly, helpful and always with a smile. Nothing seems impossible.
Most of the staff talk both English, German and Russian in varying degrees.
Housekeeping is excellent!
Laundry service is offered for a low fee, although we did not use it.
Gastronomy
Six restaurants in the resort offers a wide range of foods. Every night they fire up at least one barbecue besides the pool and the food i excellent. Staff is very helpful and serviceminded.
Sport & Entertainment
An awesome waterpark with lots of slides. Several days can be spent here without getting bored. The waterparks pools are heated, as well as one of the pools in front of the restaurant area.
The animationteam keeps the little ones entertained.
There is plenty of sunbeds and if you want more privacy you can hang out at your bungalows pool.
Room
Great size rooms with comfortable beds, roof fan and AC. Nicely decorated rooms in white and cream with dark wooden furniture. Safebox in every room as well as a refrigerator. Every room has either a patio or balcony.
Tips and recommendations
You must go here! Remember to bargain.
We bought a cellphone with pre-payed card for a 100 egp (50 egp to use) and it lasted all two weeks. Much cheaper then to bring your own phone.
Best time to go would be in spring/early summer. Around march-may. In summer it gets quite hot.
