Good but difficult to fulfill hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located outside of Castellaneta Marina and convenient only be reached by car. However, it is conveniently situated on the SS 106, and so it is a good starting point for the sightseeing in Apulia by car (for example Matera 1 h, Lecce 1.5 hours, Bari 1 h). The hotel is very clean but a little "sterile". During our stay in early June were quite a few guests were present. In the dining room we were almost alone on some nights. Dinner is excellent. We have stayed in many hotels, but I had rarely seen such a good food. The wine prices are reasonable ( from EUR 13 per bottle), the beer was too expensive (7.50 EUR per bottle). We didn't use the wellness area, the shuttle to the beach was a bit cumbersome. Overall not a beach hotel, but a good starting point for trips through Apulia with a rental car.
