La Maddalena Hotel & Yacht Club

The evaluation of the hotel is not easy. The hotel is again and to the Louis Vuitton Cup 2010 was probably opened. Everything is very stylisch and arranged interesting. The interior decorator carried good work out, whereby that is naturally matter of taste. Original our expectation attitude should take place in the hotel of the G8-Gipfel (found then however due to the earthquake in l'Aquila), accordingly was. The hotel is distant about 2-3 kilometers from the village La Maddalena and is in the military restricted area (arsenals La Maddalena). One does not have a rented car needs one a taxi (15 euro  here abgezockt) or one runs (30-45 minutes). One is thus completely apart from the commotion. Rooms rooms are differently (colors) and very interesting furnished. There is a shower in the middle in the room - we had view on the sea. The bath is somewhat too small guessed/advised for the category. The terrace with the Deluxe room was very large. Thus we had also still in the evening sun. There are not file possibilities unfortunately a great many, but it looks beautiful. Curtains can be opened and closed electrically, in the cabinet concern the light over movement alarm units. At the bed there are several direct and indirect lighting possibilities - all completely nice features. Hotel: With arrival we were very friendly welcomed and we were gotten to have a 10-minütige hotel guidance. Us everything was shown - we found good. The pool is beautiful and was not overcrowded also in August. The restaurant is super furnished, which exzellent meals. The cook understands is handicraft. That has also its price: 1 plate spaghetti = 25 €. 5 course menu 110 €. Breakfast is very good for Italian conditions. The breakfast range reminds however a little of a cafeteria. Which disturbed us: The hotel coworkers are mostly friendly, but completely overtaxed, is called the service is not particularly good. If one lets 250 EUR lie in the restaurant, one expects professional service. Unfortunately mainly trained coworkers run therefore - there one must switch to passages. That is unfortunately also with the breakfast like that. A Omelet can need already times 10 minutes and is then by hand rolled. In addition one had to refer constantly to if somewhat is missing. That was unfortunately frequently the case. Similarly behaves with the reception. The introduction was super, the remainder was weak. Here it is missing at competent guidance and particularly at training of the coworkers. In addition times the river failed 2, which led to the fact that against 04:30 in the room the emergency lighting concerned and one any longer sleep could not - at least 45 minutes. Warm water can need also times 5 minutes. Despite the negative points was our stay pleasant. One may expect stop not too much of the staff. Still a few tips to journey. 1. One is fetched from the hotel directly at the airport Olbia. That costs 165 EUR (a distance! ). Those can be down-acted however on 130 2. One drives with the taxi: about 110 (a distance) inclusive ferry 3. Helicopter: 1200 € 4. One takes the bus after Palau (5 € per person) and translates then with the ferry to Maddalena (6 € per person, car 22 €) and must then the taxi take to La Maddalena --> to postage of arsenals (15 €)
