Afrika' in the middle of the black forest. Great! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn the way back from the Alsace we stayed at the gasthaus zur Linde in oberharmersbach dinner (excellent cuisine and great service!) and decided last minute for a one-night stay. Wrong, all rooms were already booked. Now we wanted to stay in the black but definitely and are driven on the road ahead. In the next place where we asked for a room, the welcome was very cold and we did not want to stay there. So are we then to bad peterstal on the main road and the sign 'gasthof schwanen lit'. This had to be a good sign (I myself work in the quality hotel schwanen.)!
In the cosy restaurant welcomed me very friendly and picked up his wife immediately added. Hardly there, has already felt comfortable and at that time I was actually no matter how the room looked. I had decided: we stay here! Could I now choose conveniently, the room number four (!) with waterbed Africa or Asia should be perhaps, or the roses room... with 'normal' bed... The choice fell (is clear ☺ On Africa. The room is furnished and spotlessly clean. The house is very old, but nicely decorated and with it after aromatic. there was the offer for massages and body treatments. The but we didn't use it. We had a great night's sleep and were also with the breakfast again most warmly welcomed. The breakfast is down-to-earth and delicious. The rolls are wonderful! with €28, -Euro (including breakfast) per person is the price really OK. We will remember for a long time in this country. Since we had already had eaten I can't say anything about the food, but what I have seen, is the food thoroughly recommended. The lessee couple the house in April 2011 and I could imagine, that there is still a great deal to further enhance them. The parking is free!
