Relaxing week on Sun Capellot *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASun Capellot was about 3 minutes away from Felanitx with the car. The country hotel was located on an about 2.000.000 square meters large property.
The owner couple was warm and you could always talk to them. The whole property was extremely well-kept and clean. On the estate were sheeps, a cock, cats (walked around freely and you didn't need to have contact with them if you were suffering from an allergy or something like this) and a peacock.
During our stay, there were also kids on San Capellot and they didn't seem to get bored.
Location
It was near Felanitx. On Sunday, there was always a weekly market in Felanitx. Super beautiful. With music and many interesting stands.
You drove to the beaches of Cala d'Or or Cala Mondrago with the car, it took about 15-20 minutes.
Porto Colom (great restaurants) and Porto Pedro were about 10 minutes away by car.
Antonia & Miguel A. (the owners) incredibly nice and attentive hosts. The two renovated the estate with much love and was reflected everywhere.
The rooms were cleaned thoroughly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Really everything was spotlessly clean.
Antonia also always had tips where there were beaches which weren't so overrun or where you could eat well.
Antonia lived in Germany but the communication worked better if you spoke a little bit of English. It worked with English.
Gastronomy
Breakfast was included. There were tea, coffee, cold cuts, bacon, muesli, yogurt, bread, rolls, toast, honey, jam and fresh fruits. The highlight (Antonia called it "best of the day") was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Of course, the oranges came from their own orange tree :-)).
Sport & Entertainment
Sun Capellot had a pool with enough pool chairs. But we've only been at the pool once and we were alone all day long there. It was nice to jump into the pool in the evenings after that you came from the beach. The pool was 165 centimeters deep at the deepest spot.
Room
The flats were great. Luxuriously and tastefully. There was a kitchenette with two hotplates. Crockery, pans, coffee machine, microwave, towels - everything was there and not worn at all. We had flat No. 3 . All flats had a furnished (wooden furniture) terrace and a clotheshorse.
Moreover, there was a small TV (international channels).
Tips and recommendations
If you want to recover really well, we can recommend this country hotel. Kids will also have a great time. The prices were moderate and also affordable for a small budget.
