Ideal for hiking vacation *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFor a hiking vacation-we were there in the autumn, this cottage is a good base. It lies somewhat apart from the town and it was very quiet, the centre of gröbming is however good reachable on foot.
Our room in the main building on the ground floor (there is also a new building) was pretty small and simply equipped (it has given two from, but no chair at the writing surface), the views of the outside the window lying small unofficial red light district and the parking lot wasn't't especially-but we were hardly in the room during the day anyway.
The wellness area was-especially for the not too large hotel, very large, the indoor pool but only with a small pool.
In the restaurant (we had half board) we sat on a nice wooden decorated. The food was very good, the wine selection plentiful (mostly wines from Austria and Slovenia-proposes visibly the country of origin of the host couple by), the service was friendly and efficient.
Overall, it was a nice stay with great hikes, for example to include Stoderzinken and the dachstein region.
