Landhotel Golf

It is on the outskirts of Unterseen/Interlaken a short walk to the 'beach' of Lake Thun. A free bus service runs every 30 mins up to 7pm into Interlaken and Thun. About an hour and a half's drive from Zurich airport by car, and very easy to find/ drive to. The hotel can arrange a taxi to anywhere at competitive prices and it is also possible to arrange a 'horsedrawn' carriage from the near by stables (for special occasions) into Interlaken and surrounding areas. Many surrounding restaurants are well worth a visit to taste the local cuisine, such as the Luegibruggli , the roof top restaurant at the Metropole, Interlaken. Having a go at Paragliding is a must whilst visiting the area.

This is the friendliest family run hotel we have ever stayed in. Nothing is to much trouble for Sonjya, Patrick and ALL the staff. Most staff are fluent in English with the rest enjoying the chance to practice and improve their spoken English. The Checking in and checking out service was 'brilliant', all details and accounts up to date and 'spot on'.

LandHotel Golf has a large beautifully decorated restaurant extending out to a spacious balcony eating area for warmer days/ evenings. It also has a small bar area and an additional Stubbli restaurant specialising in Fondus open on Friday and Saturday evenings. Local, Italian and Healthy menus are available at the restaurant all at very competitive prices considering the quality of the food...FANTASTIC . The atmosphere is very friendly. Most nights are VERY busy, and even as a guest it is advisable to book a table in advance for an evening meal. Since there is only one sitting, there is no rush to finish your meal.

There is free public internet access in the 'hallway', and it is possible to have wi-fi access in your room/around the hotel with an additional charge. Interlaken/Unterseen golf Course is a short walk away. The garden at the rear of the hotel has sun loungers and seating areas, bbq areas as well as a play area for children. Massages and treatments are available in the treatment rooms by appointment.

The Deluxe Double room was spacious, newly decorated with a large very comfortable bed, large wall mounted tv, digital tv channels, own telephone, fridge with mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, fresh fruit on arrival. Bathroom was SPOTLESS, with bath and fantastic power shower, shaving points, Hairdryer. Towels were replaced and rooms cleaned to high standard daily. The room had its own balcony with table and chairs and a fantastic 'window box' filled with flowers.

Mobile phone coverage excellent.
Not cheap but worth every penny, excellent value for money.
