Nice city hotel with drawbacks *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is in spite of its immediate proximity to the main station Antwerp is very quiet. It is a modern business hotel and for a city stay highly recommended. The competence of the staff in the restaurant left a lot to be desired. We were several days with a group and they all had the impression, that the management was missing for the young people. So you were greeted at the breakfast, had to get the coffee from a table, while the young ladies and gentlemen spoke. The tea water, in a thermos flask, was lukewarm and not a suitable vehicle, a tea processed water. Also at the bar the friendliness was not too big. In a four star hotel and a city like Antwerp you'd expect a bit more foreign language skills, German and English. We ate in the evening a group in the restaurant, as you should know, what to serve food and ask for the selection of the drinks not. The food was not at all nights of good quality and partly lukewarm. After our tour guide had complained, however, one has itself strives given! A blond young lady was very nice!
