Cozy motel at the entrance to the Rocky Mountain NP *

Location
Estes Park is excellent as a location for trips to the Rocky Mountain NP. The motel is right in Estes Park, just a few kilometers before the entrance to the Rocky Mountain NP. Within walking distance is a Visitor Center (the environment) and various fast food deals. The motel itself is a small "pond" - it is very cozy.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Rooms are clean, no complaints.

The rooms are quite big, 2 beds, fridge, shower, separate WC, large sink.
Tips and recommendations
Visit the Visitor Center is not necessary - better Visitor Center of the park drive (right behind entrance). In the fall something that needs to Elchbeobachtung (in the morning and evenings) direction Bear Lake ... In the valley there are a lot of places where you can sit and watch the Elche very good. To route you should think about whether you goes through the park (with night then in Grand Lake) or if you the old trail Ridge Road and on the new back. You will pass through the whole park. For both types you have a full day (without any really time to go hiking). You have to decide to new trail Ridge Road, the "up" on the mountains.
