4 stars for the garden and 1star for kitchen & service
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ASummarized a very huge hotel with a nice architecture (outside) and a well cultivated garden area.
In fact only 1-2*'s concernig eating and the service at the reception and in the restaurants.
At the moment based on the heavy storm in begiining of 2010 the beach near of the hotel is unusable and inacceptable.
Definitely no hotel for a family with roompers.
Location
The hotel itself is okay, especially the garden area is in a very good condition. Some parts of the hotel should be sarify in near future, e.g. the pools: missing flaggings, no joints between the flaggings.
Only 3* based on the actual damages of the storm. The way to the "beach" is only by going through a small alley with typical 70's-80's styled restaurants possible. In our opinion a kind of tourism we must not have. To go to a an acceptable beach (for children!) you have to take a taxi to playa de ingles.
The esplenate in front of the hotel is okay (seaside).
Service partly highly unmotivated, only bars in order.
gastronomy: you have to wait about 30 minutes to gie your order to a waitress, partly highly unmotivated, not clean, e.g. broken glasses were sweept to the roof directly next the eating-area (we saw a little boy, that was injured by that!!!)
reception: partly highly unmotivated. e.g.: the wake up-call for leavin was 30 Minutes to late (5:50 a.m. instead of 5:20).
room Cleaning: after the shower we could read at the mirror every day the word "DIRT".
Gastronomy
No variety, in 50% bumpling preparation of the food. Canned Deserts and trimmings. 2€ for a glass fresh orange juice at breakfast.
2 times (!) a good quality and preparation of beef.
Summarized a really cold-blooded attitude offering such a quality and at the same time wearing 4*.
Sport & Entertainment
Entertainment and sport facilities are good.
Room
The rooms itself are really okay. One disadvantage are the dark corridors to reach the rooms.
