An experience in every way *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIf you are the size of the hotel (supposedly the largest of Europe in a coherent building) with over 1100 rooms or about 2500 beds can not be put off, will find here the best conditions for a fantastic holiday.
The staff are very friendly and competent and is obviously everything, to the guest's stay as pleasant as possible.
Our superior double room was in perfect condition, like the whole area was very clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom was pleasantly large. The rooms are cleaned daily.
The food choice was huge. For instance, there was every evening meat and fish freshly prepared at the Grilltheke. The cold and warm buffet was almost always very tasty. It was always more than enough for every taste and was always refilled. The transportation situation had different opening hours and you could hear the rush hours in the evening (mostly at the respective opening) easily. Until shortly before closing was as good as everything was available. On the offer, once a week the buffet for a set menu to change, you can skip and worth it just for the beautiful view of the beach Promenade (note: unfortunately, smoking allowed, since the food on the glass and covered terrace.). The drink prices (for example, dinner, cocktails) were in the usual framework.
The pool area is a dream. Although the hotel was fully booked, there were always enough beach chairs available, both in the sun and in the shade of the palm trees 2,500 approx. Contrary to the usual Hotel pools sees everything very natural and green. Unfortunately, the hotel its own explicit request, to ten o'clock no to reserve beach chairs, at only half-heartedly. Many guests came with their habit, early in the morning to reserve beach chairs, but most of the time. Parking in the secured parking costs 12.00 euro per day now (in price), we were by the Tour operator (Thomas cook) refunded. A rental car is recommended to explore the island, drive on the winding, narrow mountain roads but not everyone's thing. The rental car, you should keep already booked from home, as the local prices over priced.
We can thoroughly recommend the hotel and would be for another stay on the south coast at any time again for the lopesan Costa meloneras resort Spa & casino decide.
