The beach is very close, quite a lot of shops and bars in a close neighbourhood. Bus station nearby so easy to get to another parts of the island. Airport half an hour away.

Very nice service, very helpful staff, everyone friendly, speaking foreign languages. I wanted to change the room as it was situated next to some ventilator which was quite noisy, my request was handled quickly and I was offered a very nice room.

The food was very good, big breakfasts, everyone can find what they like, two restaurants to chose for the evening meal, plus 3 restaurants a la carte after the additional payment. Two meal hours in the main restaurants, 6.30 or 8.30 pm, one of them is working from 6.30 until the last guest, the second one lets in from 6.30 until around 7 pm, and then from 8.30 pm. You have to pay for the drinks. International cuisine.

Nice swimming pools (no fight for sun beds and no need to reserve the sun beds, you have a big number of them so even if you come later there is no problem to find one) tennis courts, mini golf, aerobics and pilates. Probably something more I didn't know about :) you get the towels in the hotel, additionaly two small jacuzzi pools. Some shows in the evening + live music.

Rooms quite big, clean, nice bathrooms, air-conditioning, safe, fridge, TV, hair dryer. Both a shower and a bath in the bathroom.

The climat is perfect for holidays, warm but not tiring-warm. Evenings might be cool so bring a sweater. As far as I know people go to Gran Canaria on holidays the whole year, June is great, around 26-27 degrees. The climat is different on the north of the island, when i went to Las Palmas the temperature in there was much lower then in the south. The south-west of the island is nice to see, good to take a car and make a tour.
