Absolutely fabulous
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis is the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Villa Del Conde, the first being back in 2006 for our honeymoon.
Well, this place just continues to amaze.
The quality of the accomodation, the quality of the service and the quality of ther facilities is fantastic. Better still is the food - still by far the biggest and best buffet style meals we've ever had.
Also, this is the only hotel/resort we've ever stayed in where we really don't have any desire to leave in the evening to find something to do or somewhere to go. The evening entertainment in the square really is excellent, somwthing different every night. It surprised us, but we just enjoyed sitting and watching each evening. The waiter service out in the square in the evening is also very efficient and the waiters all very friendly. Also, love the card payment system whereby you haven't got to worry about carrying cash, or indeed tips - the waiters don't expect them.
We've never been to the same hotel twice, ever - we always like to try something different. But this place is the exception. Two stays already and we wouldn't think twice (money permitting, of course!) about staying here for a third time.
