Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge

The hotel is situated at the southern border of Breckenridge (last traffic lights in the place). The US Highway 9 you have to leave at the traffic lights and a short walk through the surrounding condos. The property is located right on the lake, which (artificial) on the back of the Main Street -station. Right across the street - over a small bridge to reach the Tatstation - is the Super 6 chair. The lifts is 1 minute walk, a real ski-in/ski-out Lodge. The Main Street is 2 minutes walk.

The young man at the front desk was very friendly and competent, he was also the chef of the front desk. He told us that in the garage below the house no parking available (although the rather not, the garage was quite empty), but we could get in morning, until now just the other garage. The next day after we just parking under hotel had been used and after a Permit asked had, told us a different lady, there was nothing the young man rolled over immediately put a note. Also on the change of the room it was very accomodating. There was also free popcorn in the lobby.

As said: ski-in/ski-out. To the Skigeschäften only a few meters walk. The pool is quite large, can be heard through a small Schleuse inside distance, in addition there are 4 hot tubs. The workout room is pretty generous and best equipped. Various. cardio machines (with own TV), resistance machines and everything was super clean. 1a. In addition, there is a games room, the buildings in the different games (table football u. A. ) are available.

The room had to be careful: we had a studio. First in the lower northern building in the 1 . Floor, d. H. forward (from the lake) ground level. Top you had to go down the stairs and felt as in the basement (advantage: Direct access to the underground parking). Because we didn't like so much we changed to the upper southern building on the 6. Floor and we had a great view of the slopes. The rooms are nicely decorated, for example. With a fully equipped kitchenette (microwave, 4 hotplates, oven, fridge/freezer) and they have a small balcony. For the summer was absolutely sufficient, but anyone who in winter 1 week or more supply you with ski outfits there again a problem. Recommended to more a 1 bedroom. The rooms have no air conditioning, at the height above sea level but also not really necessary (we had 28°C and even mention until 5°C down at night).

Breck has beside the winter Pistenangebot (great - even have had !! ) Also much to offer in the summer. A great network of Bikewegen invites you to cycling.
