Best hotel I've stayed at
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel was well mantained and cleaned daily. The family and staff were very approachable and seemed to enjoy themselves best when interacting with their guests. If staying on the half board option the main meal was set, although if you didn't like what was on offer they would offer you something else, and were small portions, which was adequate for myself and my friend but would understand if some people would be put off by this. The Salad bar was excellent especcially the fresh bread which was on offer daily. One disappointment was the fruit juice, more like squash than fressh juice. Our room was large and we there were three balconies, however not all rooms were this large and it was very clean. The garden area was well landscaped and maintained. The pool was maintained daily and pool area was tidied and cleaned daily.
The walk to the town and the beach was about 20-30 mins, this wouldn't suit everybody, as there was slight incline to return to the hotel. The beach we were reccomended by one of the family was not busy and there wasn't any loud music playing. Which was excellent for relaxing.
One evening we stumbled across 'The Strip'!!!!! The party scene side of Malia. This was horrendous, but it was far enough away from the hotel for us to forget it was there!! Unfortunately there seems to an epidemic of scooters and quad bike rentals in the area, especially within the town.
In summary the hotel is well worth a visit. I would certainly stay there again.
