Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AHonestly: I was glad I was gone again. The hotel now belongs to Melai-hotel chain and revamped also name. All in all, the stay was ok, but not the hotel was - in no point - lived up to its category. Front desk and service is friendly, but I had to wait almost 2 hours to my room, although this in accordance with booking should be free. Firstly referred I a room with a view in - quite dirty and dark - courtyard. On a business trip because I didn't really need a nice Zimmerausblick, this is not first priority, because of the smell, the open the window but widespread and this time, but still very high temperatures unacceptable. At my request I got another, very nice and bright room. Due to the location (in the middle of the city, very strong 28-38 but you had to choose between windows also here on and exhaust gas and the windows closed into or loud air conditioning. I chose the latter. Cleanliness of the room was ok, bathroom a bit small and unfortunately rather unsuitable for 2 people. The breakfast was more like a 3 * standard, atmosphere loud and uncomfortable (the tables stood very close together). The buffet is good quality, but the choice is limited. The staff is slow and. annoyed. service and friendliness in other parts of the hotel but ok, the restaurant and at the bar was very good! The rooftop pool is nice and clean, but if you are in accordance with description of the wonderful view is looking forward, will be disappointed: Due to various construction in Athens overlook mostly on the accompanying Baukräne and so on. Value for money in this category well, this is not for the additional costs (cup of coffee = 24 EUR 4 , -), here you can get the number of stars very serious. In short, in Athens there are some, much better and nicer accommodations. I also have changed after 2 nights (to the area Kifissia). And the nice thing about it: Without this change I would have the other - really impressive nice - hotel didn't find them.
