Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Mercure Hotel bad Homburg friedrichsdorf has eight floors with 125 rooms. They are a bit getting old, but comfortable and contemporary furnished. The shower/bathroom is very cramped. The mirror (bedroom and bathroom) were not cleaned! The rooms and hallways are carpeted.
The staff at the front desk could be more friendly, but our reservation worked well. The door lock was on the second day not open, so I had to go back to the front desk, to re-program the map. That happens quite often before! But there was no apology. Restaurant/breakfast room, meeting rooms with state-of-the-art technology and bar on the ground floor. In the upper price category. In the basement there was a small pool, bowling alley, as well as a rustic small pub.
Buffet breakfast adequate, lunch and dinner were delicious. Service very attentive.
